Murder accused due to appear in court today Spread the love The 26-year-old man charged with the murder of Newfield resident David Roberts is set to make his first appearance before court today. The confirmation came from Jeffrey Daniel’s attorney Wendel Robinson, who said his client was charged at around 10am on  Sunday. It is alleged that on Friday, an altercation ensued between Daniel and 56-year-old Roberts, who were known to each other, and the body of the older man was later found in the vicinity of his home with injuries. A doctor pronounced him dead at 9.05am. Robinson claimed that his client also sustained injuries.
