The previous record was 1.5 inches on this date in 1901, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. We are waking up to 1 to 4 inches of wet, heavy snow that fell across the Tri-State overnight - and that’s causing some problems on a few secondary roads and hundreds of power outages.
