Police are investigating a Christmas Eve incident in which a woman was stabbed in a fight at Walmart in Oak Grove.
Oak Grove Police say just after 5 pm two women got into a verbal argument inside the store and it became physical in the parking lot. One of the women was stabbed in the head during the incident.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Police say the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A woman was hit by a vehicle on South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say the woman was crossing the road near the intersection of East 9th Street when she was hit by a van that had just turned onto South Main Street. She was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. The extent of her injuries was unknown.
The incident happened just after 1 pm.
A wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard sent two men to the hospital Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was turning onto Fort Campbell Boulevard from Interstate 24 when it collided with a northbound car.
One of the drivers was taken by ambulance to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. The second driver was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Police say both driver’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The crash happened just after 5 am.
A Hopkinsville man was injured in a wreck on Madisonville Road near the intersection of Pleasant Grove Road Saturday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 60-year-old Perry Haddock was southbound when his truck ran off the road and into a ditch. Investigators say the crash may have been caused by some kind of medical issue. Haddock was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
The crash happened just before 10 am.
