Greater Noida: A police team that raided Chanchali village in the Jewar area of Greater Noida to arrest a person involved in the selling of Marijuana was allegedly attacked by locals on Wednesday night. While two sub-inspectors and two constables suffered minor injuries, three people, including two women, were arrested. A video of the incident was also circulated on social media in which the cops are seen sitting on a cot surrounded by villagers. Later additional force was sent to the spot and the three accused Balbeer, his wife Neetu, and a relative Rajni, were arrested. Vishal Pandey, ADCP of Greater Noida, said that the team, including two SI and two constables visited the spot to conduct a search and then to arrest Balbeer, 35, in connection with a narcotic case.
