New Delhi, Feb 26 : Technologist and philanthropist Bill Gates, talking about the perils of climate change in a conversation with Alok Sharma, President of the COP26 Climate Conference, said that it was important that climate be a bi-partisan issue as we must cap thirty years of progress, not just four years .
Speaking at the ongoing Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF), the session began with an introduction to Gates mission to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from 51 million tons to zero by 2050, and about his book, The Solutions We Have and The Breakthroughs We Need .

New Delhi, Feb 25 : At author Paro Anand s Diwali party in late 2018, when Renuka Chatterjee of Speaking Tiger Publishing approached him and said that he must write a family memoir, he was shell-shocked . I ve written a number of books but it never occurred to me to explore my family in one. I discussed it with my wife who felt it was a great idea, theatre director Feisal Alkazi tells IANS while talking about his latest book Enter Stage Right: The Alkazi/Padamsee Family Memoir , which was released at the ongoing Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF).
