New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal announced that the officer was arrested yesterday after he allegedly communicated using a chat app with other adults who indicated they would provide him with access to children he could sexually assault.
Stephen Wilson, 34, of Bayonne was arrested Friday afternoon in an Atlantic City parking area. It was there, says Grewel, he allegedly agreed to meet the adults who offered him access to the girls. Wilson allegedly had encountered the other adults through an incest chat group, and they offered him access to two girls, ages 10 and 8, to sexually assault in exchange for $200. Wilson allegedly agreed to bring condoms if he intended to engage in sexual intercourse with the children. He had condoms and more than $500 in cash in his possession when he was arrested.

A Jersey City Police officer was arrested Friday afternoon after he drove to Atlantic City with the intention of having sex with two young girls, authorities alleged.
Stephen Wilson, 34, of Bayonne, was charged with conspiracy to commit human trafficking, attempted aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to a statement from the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.
Wilson was arrested in a parking area in Atlantic City where he agreed to meet adults who offered him access to two girls, ages 10 and 8, to sexually assault in exchange for $200, the office said. He set up the encounter through an incest chat app, authorities alleged.

Law enforcement arrested a Jersey City Police Officer on charges that he traveled to Atlantic City to allegedly sexually assault two underage girls, according to Attorney General Gurbir Grewal.
According to the Office of the Attorney General, Officer Stephen Wilson, 34, of Bayonne, allegedly communicated using a chat app with other adults who indicated they would provide him with access to children he could sexually assault.
Law enforcement arrested Wilson on Feb. 27 in a parking area in Atlantic City, where he allegedly agreed to meet the adults who offered him access to the girls.
