CCP Uses UN as Battleground to Confront US for Hegemony

On May 7, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi once again talked about “multilateralism” at a U.N. Security Council video conference, using the U.N. as a battleground to confront the United States. The U.N. Security Council (UNSC) was originally meant to be a consultative mechanism to avoid conflicts and wars, but now the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) mistakenly thinking that “the East is rising and the West is falling” flagrantly uses the UNSC to fight for hegemony, putting it in serious jeopardy.
Wang said that international rules are not the exclusive right or privilege of a few countries and should be made by everyone. Further, the world should not be divided along ideological lines.
German Foreign Minister Criticizes China’s Vaccine Diplomacy: ‘It’s Not the Right Way to Go’
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has indirectly criticized the Chinese regime for taking the COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity to expand its influence through “vaccine diplomacy.” He called on the international community to counter China’s expanding influence in Africa and Latin America, and warned against the regime’s tactic to divide Europe.
Maas gave a speech at the Ecumenical Church Congress in Frankfurt, Germany on May 15. He said that some countries are trying to increase their geopolitical influence through vaccine diplomacy referring to China and Russia, according to a report by World Today News.

At a ribbon cutting ceremony, Siemens South Africa, the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and the Solidarity Fund officially handed over a separate 100-bed modular hospital solution to the Cecilia Makiwane Hospital in Mdantsane. This extension will help alleviate the negative impact caused by the coronavirus on the medical system and improve access to healthcare, even beyond the pandemic.

The UN General Assembly proclaimed World Bee Day on 20 December 2017 as the result of cooperation between the Slovenian Beekeepers’ Association as the initiator, the Republic of Slovenia and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and as the result of the widespread European and wider international support of countries and organisations, including Apimondia (International Federation of Beekeepers Associations).
