The Syracuse Mets, led by their offense once again, kept up their winning ways with a 13-8 victory over the Rochester Red Wings on Friday night at NBT Bank Stadium. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Albert Almora Jr., Travis Blankenhorn, and Brandon Drury hit back-to-back-to-back home runs to help the Mets secure their third straight series win. Syracuse has now won eight of its last ten games and has come out on top in four of the first five games of the seven-game set against the Red Wings.

Corban Joseph’s tie-breaking homer in the sixth inning sent the Red Wings to a Saturday sweep of the Buffalo Bisons at Frontier Field.
With the nightcap tied, 3-3, Joseph turned on the first pitch he saw to give the Wings the 4-3 lead. Gabe Klobosits allowed back-to-back singles to start the top of the seventh before retiring the next three batters to end the game.
Daniel Palka’s two-run double in the first inning keyed a three-run first inning for the home team.

The Buffalo Bisons scored three runs in the ninth inning to steal the 3-2 victory over the Red Wings Tuesday night at Frontier Field.
Tyler White, who had a home run robbed in his previous at bat, hit a two-out, two-run homer off Wings closer Dakota Bacus in the ninth to put the Bisons in the lead
The game was scoreless into the seventh inning when the Wings got on the board on RBI hits from Blake Swihart and the rehabbing Andrew Stevenson.
