On the market: A beautifully preserved 1930s condo in Uptown

Jameson Sotheby s International Realty A pair of artists are listing a condo on Marine Drive in Uptown that still retains many of its jazzy original features from 1939.  “It’s all been very beautifully preserved,” said Judy Ledgerwood, who with her husband, Tony Tasset, bought the condo in 2016. They are asking $439,000 for the 2,800-square-foot four bedroom on the seventh and eighth floors. The condo, set to hit the market Feb. 8, is represented by Pam Rueve of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty.  The current owners and the three that preceded them have been attentive stewards of the original design, Rueve said. Vintage details include a curving bar finished in burled wood, lightning-bolt spindles in the staircase railing, and matching pink and blue bathrooms.
