Amanda Harrison, the DIA’s community engagement manager for Oakland County, said the art museum launched the project in 2010. “This is a wonderful project that was inspired from our director at the time, who took a trip to Europe and noticed these works of art from the museums there out in the community. It’s an unexpected way to experience these masterpieces from a world-class museum in your own space,” she said.
