Adam Peavy, an attorney representing a university student, is planning to file a civil lawsuit in connection to an alleged Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity hazing incident that occurred last fall. James Bowes Higgins was charged with aggravated assault by the University Police Department on Nov. 17 in connection with the incident. During the incident, bleach or cleaning fluid was allegedly sprayed onto blindfolded pledge members who were squatting against a wall, according to the Associated Press.
