A second Middlesbrough dad has been labelled a hero for his life saving actions to stop a knifeman near a primary school.
His neighbour and friend, Chris Broadley has now stepped forward and spoke about his role in terrifying school run incident.

Police are dealing with an incident in Coulby Newham. A number of roads are closed POLICE have reopened a road after a motorcyclist fell from his bike in Coulby Newham. Emergency services were at the scene of an incident near Tesco earlier today, which police said had involved a motorcycle. A man was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough after reportedly becoming unwell and falling from his bike. Police have confirmed the road is now reopen. A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.11am this morning to reports of a motorcyclist who was unwell having fallen from his bike.

A TRACTOR club’s rally raised almost £900 for the air ambulance service that saved the lives of a dale father and his two children.
Hamsterley and District Tractor Club has been raising cash regularly for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) ever since they airlifted Darren Handyside and his children, Jack and Sophie, when they were involved in an horrific car crash near Staindrop in 2012.
Joe Dobson, from the tractor club, along with David Armstrong, were among the first to arrive at the scene of the smash.

Patient numbers at a Teesside hospital s A&E department have returned to pre-pandemic levels.
Middlesbrough s James Cook University Hospital saw 300 admissions on Sunday and recorded 327 on Monday.
However health bosses say staff are still facing challenges posed by the pandemic including adhering to social distancing rules and infection control pre-cautions.
