Middlesbrough teacher Julia Rodwell praised the virtual covid ward at James Cook, which she credited with saving her life A HEADTEACHER says she “owes her life” to NHS staff after getting Covid-19 pneumonia. Middlesbrough woman Julia Rodwell, 51, was treated on the “virtual ward” being run by South Tees Hospitals, which allows patients to be monitored remotely from their own homes, when her condition worsened and had to be admitted to hospital.
