A Cornish brewery has announced its crisp new offering in a attempt to tap into a new market. Rock-based Sharp’s Brewery has rolled out a new cider brand in UK pubs and bars, in partnership with Aspall Cyder House, to tap into the growing premium cider category. Sharp’s has an established history of developing quality cider brands and for its latest launch has journeyed up-river from its Cornish estuary home to collaborate with Aspall Cyder House in Suffolk on a brand-new liquid. The resulting Sharp’s Cold River Cider combines Aspall’s expertise with Sharp’s innovative thinking to create a premium 4.5% ABV medium-dry apple cider with a light, crisp, and moreish flavour.

A Cornwall-based brewery has announced a cool new offering after assessing changing consumer trends. Having recently committed to making all of its products from 100% green energy, Sharp s Brewery have now decided to ensure that its customers don t can stock up on one of its best selling products less often. The team at the Rock-based brewery has been closely following changing shopper consumer behaviour during the recent pandemic. New alliance hopes to amplify black voices as drugs reform policy comes to the UK A COMMUNITY event hopes to bring together leading voices, and discuss cannabis and its potential legalisation. Cannabis, Money, Race and Social Justice follows an exciting new allyship between social action network Blaksox and the Transform Drug Policy Foundation. It will take place on April 29, from 7pm-8.30pm. The event comes as current London mayor Sadiq Khan pledged a new Drugs Commission in the lead up to the London mayoral elections. The new commission is expected to include independent experts and leading figures from the fields of criminal justice, public health, politics, community relations and academia.

Work at the Norfolk Homes Ltd development off Cley Road, Holt. - Credit: KATE WOLSTENHOLME Affordable homes will be built on a north Norfolk site, despite a council blunder that cost the taxpayer thousands and meant the developer was not required to build any.   In 2012, North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) permitted Norfolk Homes to build 85 homes off Cley Road in Holt, including 45pc affordable housing.   However, when the developer applied for changes to the site, NNDC failed to include any affordable homes or developer contribution, known as Section 106 money.   North Norfolk District Council has approved changes to a Holt development that will allow for 12 affordable homes
