JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – During the week of March 8th, the Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center will be hosting a virtual Women’s Business Conference week designed to engage women in business to discuss important topics.
One of the many speakers will be Cathy Lindquist, a member of the North Dakota Procurement Technical Assistance Center (ND PTAC).
In addition to her years of experience in small business development, she has a background in management, strategy and marketing. She has worked at billion dollar companies and been the first employee hired by a small business – and everything in between.
Lindquist says selling to federal or state government is not the same as selling to retail or commercial clientele. She added she’ll be reviewing why a company would want to sell to a government agency, ways to prepare, and how to sell.
