Jamestown Police Department officers and paramedics responded to an accident in southwest Jamestown Monday morning. Written By: Keith Norman | 4:53 pm, Jun. 14, 2021 A Jamestown resident is dead after a traffic accident believed to be related to a medical episode he had while driving, according to Nick Hardy, an officer with the Jamestown Police Department. Hardy said a 77-year-old man was traveling northbound on 14th Avenue Southwest when he had the episode. His vehicle rolled and struck a tree. Jamestown Police Department officers and the staff of Jamestown Area Ambulance Service attempted life-saving measures at the scene but were unsuccessful. The accident victim was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
