JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) is seeking business and stakeholder support for the newly named “Bison World”.
Previously called the Buffalo City Park, “Bison World, A Legendary Experience” has now been officially trademarked property. Now the JSDC is looking for support for the project.
“We are creating a list of companies and organizations that want to be kept informed about our plans going forward or who may have an interest in a formal relationship with the project in the future,” JSDC CEO Connie Ova stated. “Those of us working to bring Bison World to North Dakota don’t want to miss sharing this opportunity with anyone who may be interested.”

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Earlier this month, the Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) proposed an incentive package as part of the agreement for ADM to build a $350 million soybean crushing plant to Spiritwood.
The more $2.5 million incentive package covered by the city and Stutsman County. JSDC CEO Connie Ova says they’ll refer to ADM as “Company X” until the beginning of June.
(ADM) ADM also adding refining and storage capacity to crush facility in Quincy, Illinois ADM (NYSE: ADM) today (May 10, 2021) announced its plan to build North Dakota’s first-ever dedicated soybean crushing plant and refinery to meet fast-growing demand from food, feed, industrial and biofuel customers, including producers of renewable diesel.
Based in Spiritwood, ND, the approximately $350 million crush and refining complex will feature state-of-the-art automation technology and have the capacity to process 150,000 bushels of soybeans per day. Strategically located in a major soybean producing area, ADM’s global logistics network will enable the facility to access both domestic and global markets for soybean oil and meal. The facility is expected to be complete prior to the 2023 harvest.
