The Modesto resident born and raised in Stockton said he was trepidatious initially but decided to go ahead to help protect himself and his family from the coronavirus. “For me the importance of getting this is my mom is a high-risk person,” said Soto, who works in admitting at the hospital. “From what I’ve been told, this is good for people that are high risk. I just want to make sure my mom is safe, so for me it was important to get it for her.”
