Singapore Airlines becomes world s 1st to test IATA s Travel Pass

Singapore Airlines has become the world s first airline to use the International Air Transport Association s (IATA) Travel Pass, a mobile application designed to show if passengers have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or tested negative for the coronavirus.
The pilot program is being tested on passengers travelling from Singapore to London from March 15 through 28. This marks the second phase of the airline s digital health verification process trials based on IATA s Travel Pass framework.
Passengers using mobile phones running on Apple s iOS can download the IATA Travel Pass app and create a digital ID comprised of their profile photo and passport information.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) will be the world’s first airline to pilot the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Travel Pass mobile application for digital health verification, starting with passengers travelling from Singapore to London from 15 to 28 March 2021.

Singapore Airlines Resumes Munich Flights 22 January 2021
Starting on January 20, 2021, Singapore Airlines once again be operating three flights per week between Singapore and Munich, Germany.
Flights from Singapore will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while those from Munich will depart on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. An Airbus A350-900 will service the route and will also transport cargo to and from Asia.
