A Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) officer has been found guilty of murder and three counts of attempted murder.
Bongani Silence Baloyi was convicted in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg on Monday.
The court heard that Baloyi murdered a man in what appeared to be a road rage incident.
On 3 October 2019, at the intersection of South Africa Drive and Central Africa Republic streets, Baloyi made a U-turn while driving a VW Golf. His actions nearly caused a collision with a Nissan travelling towards Honeydew, driven by Seja Lawrence Nkwana.
