Attempted murder under investigation in Josephine County - KOBI-TV NBC5 / KOTI-TV NBC2

JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. – Police are investigating an attempted murder in rural Josephine County. Investigators said in the early morning hours of Monday, April 5, there was a reported shooting inside a home in the 36000 block of Redwood Highway south of Cave Junction. When Josephine County Sheriff’s Office deputies got to the scene, they found a 45-year-old man who was shot. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies responded to the 36000-block of Redwood Highway just after 1 a.m. for reports of a shooting that took place inside of a home. Once on the scene, the Sheriff s Office found a 45-year-old man who had been shot. The victim was taken to Three Rivers Community Hospital for treatment.

According to Rural Metro Fire, the accident happened on Waters Creek Road in Wonder just around four this afternoon.  We ve also learned from Rural Metro Fire that both kids were riding on the same motorcycle when the crash happened.
