CNY’s Kegs Canalside books first concert of 2021 Syracuse.com 2/8/2021
Kegs Canalside in Central New York has booked its first concert of the 2021 season.
Country star Lee Brice will perform at the venue’s outdoor summer stage in Jordan, N.Y., on Friday, July 23, 2021. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 18-and-over event.
According to promoter Back II Back Entertainment, tickets will go on sale Friday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. through kegscanalside.net. Advanced tickets are $35 plus applicable fees.
“KEGS & BACK II BACK will Continue to Follow All New York State Covid Protocols Moving Forward for Outdoor Gatherings,” a concert announcement says.

First, consider the source: The letter was written by a representative of the well-funded, anti-union, anti-prevailing wage Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), which has long been engaged in an aggressive disinformation campaign designed to confuse elected officials, the public and the press when it comes to Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) and other matters affecting workers’ rights. Let’s be clear, ABC does not care about local taxpayers or local workers its goal is to increase profits for its contractor members and its letter must be viewed through that lens.

Now that Covid-19 vaccine has begun distribution in the U.S., a return to “normal” life is somewhere on the horizon. Limits on gatherings and restaurants will be lifted, indoor movie theaters can reopen, and eventually, when enough people are vaccinated to achieve “herd immunity” we may be able to stop wearing face masks everywhere.
