Man charged in death of Anthony Logan surrenders to police
Man killed, woman charged in South Bend shooting ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. The man who has been charged with the murder of Anthony Logan has been taken into custody, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
Fred Robertson Morris, 33, surrendered on January 9 and was booked on the outstanding warrant for murder and a felony firearm sentencing enhancement.
Morris will be arraigned Monday at 1 p.m.
The other person charged in this case, Revlon Harrell, will be in court on January 19. She was charged with assisting a criminal.

Tayshawn Malczynski, 16, has been charged with murder, attempted robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and attempted murder. A felony firearm sentencing enhancement was also filed.
Malczynski was arrested on January 6 and charges were filed the following day.
On December 15, Mishawaka Police responded to shots fired at Central Park on Mishawaka Avenue.
First responders located a gray Jeep with one gunshot victim near the passenger front door and one gunshot victim inside the vehicle, reports said.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. Formal charges have been filed in the murder of Anthony Logan, who was shot Tuesday after allegedly stealing a vehicle on Lincolnway West. Court documents say the woman who claimed to have pulled the trigger was not the shooter.
The woman who was initially arrested, 27-year-old Revlon Harrell, has been charged with assisting a criminal.
Harrell s boyfriend, 33-year-old Fred Morris, has been charged with one count of murder in the shooting.
South Bend Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lincolnway West on Tuesday evening on a ShotSpotter alert that six shots had been fired.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unity investigation.
Dijon Marcus Davis, 18 of South Bend, was arrested and booked into the St. Joseph County jail today on preliminary suspicion of murder and an outstanding unrelated warrant according to officials.
Darius Jamal Vaughn, 19 of South Bend, was arrested as well and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail today on preliminary suspicion of murder according to officials.
Both were arrested in the connection of a shooting that occurred on October 22, at Waterford Glenn Apartments in South Bend. This shooting resulted in the deaths of Malik Balderos, 21, and Ricky Kinds Jr., 20.
