Senator Joel Villanueva on Sunday urged President Duterte to find some time to get unfiltered information “at the ground” so he would know the real plight of health care workers and other frontline workers who are at the forefront of the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our unsolicited and respectful suggestion is for the President to get unfiltered reports from those on the frontlines, from hospital directors who can give him the true picture at the ground,” Villanueva said in a statement on Sunday, April 4.
“To his credit, the President likes to mingle with the boots on the ground. But now is the time for him to hear stories of those who are in the different, but more dangerous trenches,” the senator stressed.
