When I go home, I can kiss my children without having to sanitize myself first,” Iraqi refugee Raia said on Thursday after receiving a COVID-19 jab in the northern Jordanian city of Irbid, becoming one of the first UNHCR-registered refugees in the world to be vaccinated against the virus.

AMMAN The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics, in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees, in Jordan, took the initiative to conduct practical training on how to take medical samples of PCR tests to detect the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). In cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Health, the KSrelief trained 5 nurses, so that each of them would take random samples for clinic visitors, including all disease control and public safety measures.
