AMMAN Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Thursday said that HRH Crown Prince Hussein had cancelled a scheduled visit to Al Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday to commemorate Al Israa wal Miraj after Israel violated arrival protocols at Al Haram Al Sharif and tried to impose complications to hinder Jerusalemites’ entry to the mosque.

Jordan condemns continued Israeli violations at Al Aqsa

AMMAN Jordan on Sunday condemned the continued Israeli violations at Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif, the most recent of which was excavations near the Buraq Wall, which is part and parcel of Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez reiterated the Kingdom’s rejection for all unilateral Israeli actions in occupied East Jerusalem, the Old City and at Al Aqsa Mosque, noting that these provocations are in violation of international law.
