King issues directives to dispatch urgent medical aid to Palestinians in West Bank, Gaza

Amman His Majesty King Abdullah has directed the government to dispatch urgent medical aid to the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, amidst the Israeli aggression on civilians.
The aid will be dispatched through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation in cooperation with the Royal Medical Services.

RAMALLAH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) announced on Thursday that it has concluded the distribution of Ramadan food baskets to needy families in Palestine in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).
The center distributed 16,550 food baskets in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, in coordination with Palestinian associations and civil society institutions and orphanages.
The director of KSrelief’s office in Jordan, Saud Al-Hazim, said that the distribution of Ramadan food baskets in Palestine reflects the Kingdom’s role in supporting countries through KSrelief, which “spares no effort to provide aid to those in need.”

AMMAN Six underprivileged families in Al Muqabalain district in Amman on Saturday received their newly renovated housing units as part of the Royal Initiative for Housing and in partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Covering all the Kingdom’s governorates, the initiative was launched in 2005 targeting beneficiaries that are in need, which are chosen according to the Ministry of Social Development’s criteria.

AMMAN The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) and Qatar Charity on Tuesday launched the second phase of the “Warmth and Peace” campaign designed to extend winter and hygiene essentials to Syrian and Palestinian refugees, as well as needy Jordanian families.
In a statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the JHCO said that the second phase of the initiative, which was launched in November, targets more than 1,758 refugee and Jordanian families or 9,000 individuals, indicating that the assistance includes food, accommodation, heaters and fuel, clothes and blankets.
