Rangy Rainier Beach Receiver Hopes UW Notices the Faster, Taller Him With his junior season just a couple of weeks away, Jaelin Green wants recruiters to see his physical gains. Author: Family was involved.  My cousin Tre Watson was a defensive back for the Huskies, Green said.  He told me how much he enjoyed it there. Beyond lending support for Watson, Green s family was all about the purple and gold.  We have Husky football parties for every game, he said.   Playing his high school football just two miles from the University of Washington campus, the 6-foot-5, 180-pound Green dreamed one day of playing his college ball in Husky Stadium.

Recruiting Roundup: Making Some Predictions For The 2022 Recruiting Class Share this story Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports Happy Sunday Husky fans. I know I have been saying this for a while, but there still isn’t much going on in recruiting right now. The Husky staff are still recruiting but there aren’t any new offers (there have been some preferred walk on offers, but no new scholarship offers). Today I wanted to take a stab at making some predictions for the 2022 class (note: these are early predictions). The first prediction I will make is that UW will fill out their entire offensive line class in the state of Washington. I believe that the Huskies will eventually end up landing 4 star tackle Josh Conerly from Rainier Beach HS, WA, 4 star offensive tackle Malik Agbo from Todd Beamer HS, WA, 3 star offensive guard Vega Ioane from Graham Kapowsin HS, WA, and 3 star offensive guard Mark Nabou from O’Dea HS, WA. The Huskies also have a great shot at Dave Iuli from Puyallup

This next Wednesday is the late signing period for football, but it’s not expected that the Huskies will add anyone else on Wednesday to their 15 man 2021 class. With that being the case I wanted to take look forward to the 2022 class again. Currently the Huskies have 4 commits in the class including 4 star wide receiver Germie Bernard (who is one of the top wideouts in the class), 3 star tight end Chance Bogan (who is one of the better tight ends, in the mold of a Hunter Bryant), 3 star defensive end Anthony Jones (who is a versatile athlete who will play the buck/rush end position), and 3 star defensive tackle Sir Mells (who is a bigger defensive tackle who is just coming into his own).
