1. The NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse season opened this weekend, and Jacksonville rallied for a big win over High Point to open Friday’s action. On Saturday, Notre Dame showed it’s picking up right where it left off. Rounding things out on Sunday was No. 1 North Carolina living up to the hype, besting Stony Brook 14-7 in a top-five showdown. And in case you forgot, Izzy Scane is really good. She tied a Northwestern record with nine goals in a win over Ohio State.
