Francesca Belouad, MA, is a Research Psychologist in GEB-SDGE. She is responsible for administrating interviews and overseeing clinical aspects of the NIMH Family Study. Francesca has been employed as a Research Psychologist at the NIMH since 2000, when she was recruited by Dennis Charney, MD, during the formation of the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Research Program. Prior to this, she held research positions at the Section on Development Psychology at the NIMH, Outpatient Psychiatry at the Washington Veterans Medical Center, and the Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Francesca s work has focused on the writing and submission of the original NIMH Family Study protocol and the development and selection of research measures. WASHINGTON - The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) presented its Master Interventionalists of SCAI (MSCAI) designations during the SCAI 2020 Scientific Sessions Virtual Conference MSCAI recognition ceremony.
The MSCAI designation is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated excellence in invasive/interventional cardiology over the course of their career and for their commitment to the highest levels of clinical care, innovation, publication, and teaching.

It was his doctor, family physician Wayne Altman, inviting him in for a COVID-19 shot. On a Sunday morning, he drove 10 minutes to the doctorâs office in Arlington and received the vaccination in his car from a staff member he knew well. âIt couldnât have been easier,â said Brenner, a retired biology teacher who suffers from an anxiety disorder that makes it difficult to mingle with strangers.
