A Grand Forks man pleaded guilty this week to fatally stabbing a man last August.
Sahadev Ghalley, 45, accepted a plea agreement with the state on Wednesday, March 31. He is scheduled to appear for a sentencing hearing on Sept. 3, after a presentence investigation has been conducted.
As part of the agreement, Ghalley pleaded guilty for a sentence of 50 years with the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with 20 suspended, for a total of 30 years in prison. He would also be sentenced to five years of supervised probation upon his release.
