OCDETF stands for Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces, which is a “keystone of the Attorney General’s strategy to reduce the availability of illicit narcotics throughout the United States using a prosecutor-led, multi-agency approach to combat transnational organized crime.” OCDETF identifies, disrupts and dismantles drug traffickers, money launderers, and transnational criminal organizations. By Todd Epp Feb 19, 2021 4:05 PM SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) An Omaha, Nebraska man is guilty of two counts of robbing a First National Bank branch–twice–in Sioux Falls. Ferris Valentine, 54, faces 25 years in federal prison on each count, a $250,000 fine, or both. The robberies took place in November 2017. Authorities say he absconded with nearly $280,000. Sentencing is set for May 10th. The news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office is below. – United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that Ferris Valentine, age 54, of Omaha, Nebraska was found guilty of two counts of Bank Robbery as a result of a federal jury trial in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The verdict was returned on February 18, 2021.
