Stacey Skeet of Blaze Park was fined a total of £720 and disqualified from dealing dogs for three years. She was also ordered to pay a contribution of £500 towards investigation costs. Skeet appeared before Dudley Magistrates’ Court on May 12 to answer offences under the Animal Welfare Regulations 2018 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. Between December 2 and December 7 last year the 41-year-old bred and sold dogs without a licence. She also created the impression that she could lawfully sell dogs when she could not.

Stourport man charged over Willenhall crash which killed grandfather

Brian Humphries died after he was knocked off his pedal bike in Willenhall last year A MAN from Stourport has been charged with causing death by careless driving after a van crash killed an 85-year-old cyclist in Walsall last year. Jamie Bridgwater, of Lichfield Street, has been charged with causing death by careless driving while over the prescribed limit for drugs. It is alleged the 33-year-old was driving a van which collided with Brian Humphreys in Temple Bar in Willenhall on June 15. The fatal collision happened in Walsall last June. Photo from Google Maps Mr Humphreys suffered a serious head injury and later died from his injuries on June 26.

Court orders Colley Gate landowner to make properties safe

A LANDOWNER who ignored requests to carry out safety repairs to his run-down properties in Colley Gate has been hit with a court order. Dudley Council brought the case against Shakeel Hussain, after he left 122, 124 and 126 Colley Gate in a dangerous state. Dudley Magistrates’ Court has ordered Mr Hussain to undertake the works to remove the danger or to demolish part or all of the properties within the next 26 weeks. Failure to comply with the order would be a criminal offence. He was also ordered to pay £300 towards the council’s costs of making the application for the order. Heidi Marsh-Geyton, Dudley Council s director of public realm, said: We welcome the court’s verdict against Mr Hussain and look forward to seeing the overdue safety improvements being made.
