A 30-YEAR-old man has been sent forward for trial accused of killing a father-of-three who died in hospital 10 days after he suffered head injuries in a one-punch assault in Dublin.
A life support machine keeping Jason Kearney, 49, alive was turned off at the Mater Hospital on 12 September.
He had been in a critical condition since he was rushed there by ambulance after an incident at Seville Place in the north inner city at about 2.50am on 2 September.

The 58-year-old, with an address at Adelaide Street in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, appeared at court via video link.
He was remanded in custody for sentencing in July.
Creaven admitted sexually exploiting three children in Dublin, three counts of sexually assaulting and exploiting children in the Philippines, and possession of child pornography in the UK and Ireland.

He pleaded guilty to four counts of possession child pornography in Ireland and the UK in November 2017, three counts of sexually assaulting children in the Philippines - who have not been identified - on three different dates in October 2014 and July 2017, and three counts of exploiting three named children at a flat in Dublin between May and July 2017.
Two men have been sent for trial accused of attacking a pensioner who was allegedly held at knife-point and beaten with his own walking stick during a house raid in Dublin.
Lee McDonnell, 29, of Colepark Green, Ballyfermot, and Alan Downey, 38, of Colepark Road, Ballyfermot, in west Dublin, were served with books of evidence when they appeared at Cloverhill District Court.
They are charged with assault causing harm and aggravated burglary at the home of a 73-year-old neighbour of Mr Downey in the early hours of Nov. 20 last year.
Judge Victor Blake noted the Director of Public Prosecution directed trial on indictment and he granted a return for trial order.
