Dublin-based building-tech company IFS raises €2m

The multimillion-euro investment will aid Integrated Facilities Solutions’ expansion plans into new markets in Europe and the US.
Integrated Facilities Solutions (IFS), which provides digital applications for building construction and management teams, has raised €2m in funding.
The Dublin-based company received the funding through the Davy EIIS Fund, an employment and investment incentive scheme managed by BDO on behalf of investors.
IFS will use the funds to support its growth and expansion into targeted markets in Europe and the US.

Can You Give an Overview of Your Research Experiments in Cell Culture, in Particular the Experiments Featured in Your Published Material?
The publication of interest discussed typical mammalian cell culture processes using a CHO-K1 host.
Our goal was to use these processes as a template to evaluate the integration of multiple PATs and relatively new technologies, such as the magnetic sector MS from Thermo Fisher, to do online process and product characterization within the same platform.

The death has occurred of architect John Meagher, one of the founders of the well-known firm de Blacam and Meagher.
Mr Meagher, who died aged 73, studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology school of architecture (1966-71) and at Helsinki University of Technology school of architecture (1971-72).
He established de Blacam and Meagher Architects with Shane de Blacam in 1976.
In 2010 de Blacam and Meagher represented Ireland at the 12th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice .
In 2018 the firm received the outstanding contribution to architecture prize at the Building and Architect of the Year Awards.
