The collision happened at about 8pm on Monday, on Brougham Terrace in Hartlepool. The boy suffered minor injuries to his arm, leg and head, a spokesperson for Cleveland Police said. Officers would now like to speak to the driver of the white Mercedes, who stopped to speak to the boy following the incident. A spokesperson said: The driver stopped and spoke to the cyclist and left after the boy said he was ok. The boy had minor injuries to his arm, leg and head. We’d ask the driver to contact Acting Sgt Lee Benson of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit via the 101 number, quoting ref 40799.

A cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries A CYCLIST was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car. The collision happened at the junction of Cargo Fleet Lane and South Bank Road, Middlesbrough, at about 7pm on Friday. A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: We are appealing for witnesses to a collision in which a cyclist suffered potentially life threatening injuries. The collision at around at the junction of Cargo Fleet Lane and South Bank Road it involved a white BMW 330 estate car and the red pedal bike. The 33-year-old rider struck the vehicle before falling to the floor.
