Share Updated: 3:47 PM CDT Jun 14, 2021 WVTM 13 Digital An investigation is underway in Talladega County after a teenager was found shot to death near a car early Monday morning.The Talladega County Sheriff s Office says deputies responded to reports of a car accident in the 1400 block of Alpine Winterboro Road around 12:20 a.m. Monday. At the scene, TCSO says deputies and Winterboro volunteer firefighters located a vehicle off of the roadway and an unresponsive female with gunshot wounds nearby.The victim was identified as 18-year-old Barbara Harmon. TCSO says first responders attempted life-saving efforts on Harmon, but were unsuccessful.Harmon s body will be taken to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
