Knox Street redo in Dallas includes The RealReal luxury consignment store
The RealReal, which opens Friday, reflects the lifestyle that Knox District landlords are trying to capture at one of Dallas’ oldest shopping and entertainment districts.
The RealReal opens April 8 at 3120 Knox Street in Dallas. The store is taking over space that formerly housed Kate Spade New York and is one of the new stores coming to the Knox District.
The RealReal is the latest new store on Knox Street and the first resale shop, but don’t confuse it with a thrift shop.
Hari Mari said Wednesday that Billy Reid co-founder and former CEO Jake Szczepanski will become president of the fast-growing Dallas-based flip flop startup, which is planning to expand into apparel this spring.
Szczepanski has been on the Hari Mari board for three years and is moving onto the management team “to help spearhead the brand’s continued growth,” the company said.

Jeremy Stewart, Hari Mari’s co-founder, said Szczepanski’s “lifetime of consumer goods and brand-building know-how” will help the company move into lifestyle and apparel categories.
