In September, 50 1,500-foot-long rail segments were delivered for DART’s 26-mile Silver Line Regional Rail Project under construction between Plano, Texas, and DFW Airport. Steel Dynamics, Inc. in Columbia City, Ind., shipped them by train to Richardson. The new alignment is slated for revenue service in 2023.
2020 has been a difficult year for transit agencies and railroads across the country. But for nearly every one, there were bright spots from dedicated employees serving on the front lines to new initiatives improving the rider experience. Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) in Texas has shared highlights of its achievements throughout the year.

For many companies working in the K-12 market, the past year has been about prevailing in the face of hardship, and positioning themselves for what they hope are more stable and successful days ahead.
As soon as the coronavirus pandemic began shutting down in-person classes in the spring, education businesses across the industry from the biggest companies in the market to startups were immediately forced to recalibrate how they could help school systems in states of upheaval.
Those strategic adjustments have been ongoing, from the frantic days of March and April through today, and more changes will surely last through much of 2021.

She said they understand the past few months have been difficult especially for those who have had very little if any in-person instruction. We re doing a lot of work to stress one of the most important learnings for this year, how we can very quickly re-engage students who may have struggled in the remote environment with lots of opportunities for kids to both interact inside school in safe ways, as well as get deeply engaged in the learning we know is so important for them.
Korobovskaya, a native of
Russia, studied to be a physician at Krasnoyarsk State Medical Academy in Krasnoyarsk, Russia,
the Dallas Independent School District said in April, when it appointed her to head the downtown school.
The educator became a science teacher at Thomas C Marsh Middle School in 2008, and was drawn toward Montessori schools as she furthered her education career. She served as principal at Pebblecreek Montessori and assistant principal at Eduardo Mata Montessori.
