The Gulliver boy, who cannot be identified legally, was driving from Cairns to Townsville after attending a music festival the day before. Sleep-deprived after a night of revelry and drug taking the then-17-year-old made the fatal decision to embark on the four-hour journey home. He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing two deaths but the teenager who will turn 19 in just a number of months won t spend any time behind bars.

Markaya Jay Barsley Amory pleaded guilty to five offences including possessing a firearm and stealing from Myer at Stockland Shopping Centre. The court heard she was in the company of a man on January 4 when she entered the Myer store on Nathan St while pushing a shopping trolley.

High on ice, while on parole, Watson was not thinking clearly when he approached a house at 5am on November 18, 2019, according to Crown Prosecutor Nigel Rees. After hearing a noise, the woman opened her front door, spotted Watson with something in his hand. When she tried to close the door, he said don t call the cops, I ve got a gun . Fearing for her four children, she threw her spare set of car keys and barricaded the door.
