The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Tornado Warning for. North central Marengo County in southwestern Alabama. Southeastern Greene County in west central Alabama. Southern Hale County in west central Alabama. Southeastern Sumter County in west central Alabama. Until 300 PM CDT. At 152 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Jefferson, or near Demopolis, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD.Tornado. SOURCE.Radar indicated rotation. The National Weather Service has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation Tornado Watch for West Alabama, the highest threat level available within the forecast agency s advisories. The National Weather Service is now forecasting a significant tornado outbreak, and it is imperative that residents of the state prepare now.

7:18 pm Dallas County Update: AL 14 East of Selma roadway is clear. Burnsville area - trees and power lines down on Co Rd 80, Co Rd 83, and Co Rd 84.
6:57 pm Several flooded road in Walker County: Areas of Saragossa, Trinity Rd and Russell Dairy are under water.
6:42 pm Storm damage off Lake Wildwood Drive in Coaling. Trees and powerlines down.
