A reward has been posted in the October shooting on Interstate 59/20 that left a Georgia man paralyzed.
Gov. Kay Ivey announced the $5,000 reward on Tuesday. The shooting happened Oct. 9 when Curtis Henchel, his wife and their two young children were traveling through Alabama from Georgia to visit family in Texas.
It was about 10:42 p.m. when the family, traveling in their Yukon, were fired on randomly as they passed through Tuscaloosa County at about the 96-mile marker. An unknown vehicle pulled alongside the SUV and fired multiple rounds.
