Building to a crescendo of sound, guitars blurring out the air around Gini Jungi s achingly cool vocals, The Fool is an echoing alt-rock bliss-out fest tinged with psychedelia while Unspoken explores a dreamier side to the band s sound. For me, ‘The Fool’ is definitely the most meaningful song on the record. I wrote it with great heartbreak and remember even shedding a few tears when I first played it on my guitar , Jungi said of the A-side, which closed out the band s debut 2020 album Sweet Mortality.
The band featured on our recent feature on bands to check out coming out of Switzerland. The scene over there is a rich one and Annie Taylor are a key component of that culture.
