Schnuck Markets Inc. is joining supermarkets and food manufacturers across the country to celebrate the first-ever Supermarket Employee Day. FMI The Food Industry Association, has proclaimed this new holiday to recognize employees at every level for the work they do feeding families and enriching lives.

As part of Black History Month, Schnuck Markets Inc. is offering customers of all stores the opportunity to Round Up at the Register to continue its support of the Urban League. Donations in the St. Louis area will support the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis (ULSTL) specifically, the nonprofit organization’s Save our Sons program. Roundups in Schnucks stores in other markets will assist the New York-based National Urban League. The campaign runs through Feb. 16.

One of the most important social issues of our time racial diversity, equity and inclusion was the topic for an eye-opening panel discussion Tuesday during the virtual FMI Midwinter Executive Conference.
