2 arrested in Eastman for drugs, guns
Law enforcement seized suspected fentanyl, heroin and crack cocaine.

EASTMAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) Two men were arrested in a drug bust Wednesday morning.
Dodge County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with officers from the Eastman Police Department, arrested Edwin Williams and Abraham Broady after a search warrant was executed on 11th Avenue.
Law enforcement seized suspected fentanyl, heroin and crack cocaine.
Cash, two handguns and three vehicles were also seized.

The arrests include:
Christopher Wright, 25, charged with 1st Degree Arson and Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer
Nedra Deckard, 25, charged with Conspiracy
Tristin Muncy, 24, charged with 1st Degree Arson and Felony Obstruction
On Saturday, May 22nd, Dodge County 911 operators received a call around midnight about a fire at the Captain D’s. According to the Georgia State Fire Marshal’s Office the fire damaged portions of the back wall, roof, and telephone lines at the restaurant.
“I commend my Fire Investigations Unit for their thorough work that led to the arrest of these individuals,” said Commissioner King. “The suspects were taken into custody by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.”

Two vehicles collide near Dodge Center Wednesday
Names of the drivers have not been released.

WASIOJA TOWNSHIP, Minn. – Two vehicles collided Wednesday afternoon on Highway 14 in Dodge County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 53-year-old woman from Dodge Center was driving west and turned onto 160th Street when she collided with another westbound vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man from Claremont.
The identities and conditions of the drivers are not being released at this time but the State Patrol is calling this an injury accident.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Dodge Center Fire Department, and Claremont Ambulance assisted at the scene.
