WWE has revealed when LA Knight (formerly known as Eli Drake) will be making his NXT in-ring debut.
In a backstage interview on tonight s NXT, Knight announced that his NXT in-ring debut will take place next Wednesday. His opponent for the show hasn t been announced.
Knight s interview on tonight s NXT was interrupted when he was attacked by Bronson Reed. Knight and Reed had to be separated by officials.
Last week, interference by Knight cost Reed a match against Cameron Grimes. Knight had cut an in-ring promo on last week s NXT. As soon as his promo ended, Reed s music hit and he came out for his match while Knight was still in the ring.
A match to determine an Undisputed NXT Cruiserweight Champion looks to be on the horizon.
On NXT tonight, a video aired with Jordan Devlin announcing that he s coming to NXT next Wednesday. WWE lists Devlin and Santos Escobar as both being NXT Cruiserweight Champions.
Devlin mentioned in tonight s video that April s two-night NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver event is coming soon. Devlin said it would be a shame if the biggest TakeOver in history didn t have the real NXT Cruiserweight Champion on the card. Devlin said his travel ban got lifted today and he s coming to NXT next week.
Escobar spoke to NXT general manager William Regal later on tonight s show and asked who the hell Devlin thinks he is. Escobar said everyone knows Escobar is the real NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

NXT s Shotzi Blackheart is one of the most electrifying stars on the black and gold brand, and tonight she had something special planned. Blackheart has brought some epic looks to the NXT, including her Halloween-inspired costumes during Haloween Havoc, but for tonight s NXT she teased that she would be homaging Escape From New York s Snake Plissken, and afterward, fans couldn t wait to see what she had planned. It didn t disappoint either, and you can check out the new gear in the photo below.
You can clearly see the homage in Blackheart s pants, which are pretty much a spot-on recreation of Plissken s black and white camouflage pants from the film. She s also wearing a black shirt like Plissken did, though she has a bit of red in her gear to shake things up.
