Officials with the $540 million Broadwest mixed-use project nearing completion in Midtown announced Tuesday Halls Chophouse of Charleston will be the signature restaurant in the development s office tower.
According to a release, Halls plans to open about 12 months from now with the future restaurant which focuses on steaks and seafood to be the first located outside South Carolina.
Halls will occupy more than 10,000 square feet on the ground floor along with a 2,500-square-foot patio that fronts the Broadwest plaza at
1600 West End Ave. Terms of the lease with Huntsville-based owner Propst Development and the cost to get operational are not being disclosed.
