(Carlos Gonzalez/Star Tribune via AP) By Dave Campbell MINNEAPOLIS The glimpses of Byron Buxton’s game-changing, worth-the-admission skills have grown broader over the last three years as the Minnesota Twins center fielder has blossomed with the bat to match his long-superior work with the glove. Nelson Cruz, Shane Bieber mic d up highlights

share-square-1275909 Nelson Cruz had plenty to chatter about in the Twins home run barrage on Wednesday against the Indians and, luckily for us, he was mic d up the whole time. Though he wasn t pitching in the game, Cleveland ace Shane Bieber was also mic d up during Cleveland’s 10-2 loss, chiming in from the dugout on everything from bees to Jurassic Park to time travel. Cruz didn t even wait for the game to start to begin his antics, striking a lucrative pregame deal with Ian Kadish, the club s strength and conditioning director. Mural celebrating key workers pops up in Oxford

A MURAL recognising key workers has popped up in Oxford. The mural in Manzil Way Gardens, Cowley Road is the latest in a series of artworks commissioned by Fusion Arts. In September, three murals spreading the message of staying safe were created. The artist behind the latest mural, Tommy Watkins, said: “A walk down Cowley Road is a treat for the senses: smells of delicious food from all over the world; sounds of many languages and accents, and sights to keep any coffee shop dweller occupied for hours. “I wanted this mural to reflect the amazing energy and diversity of this important area of Oxford as a way to send a message of hope and gratitude to both the key workers of the NHS and local community.”
