The Roady4Roadies Events Are On This Weekend
This weekend a series of Roady4Roady events will take place all over Australia.
10 cities will host performances including Ambassador Missy Higgins with Mark Seymour in Melbourne. Members of GANGgajang in Sydney, 1927’s Eric Weideman in Perth and Spy Vs Spy in Newcastle.
Michael Chugg of Chugg Entertainment said, “In these hard times its important we support the 1000’s of crew that make it happen for us while they are going through very, very hard times. Roady4Roadies is an amazing event, make sure you get there.”
It all starts with the Roady4Roadies Walk with the entertainers hitting up activities and performances in the various cities.
Roady4Roadies Day Set For April 11
Sunday 11 April has been designated Roady4Roadies Day 2021. The event to be held in 10 cities around Australia is a day for crew and the musicians who work with them to reconnect in social gatherings.
Roady4Roadies is a CrewCare project. CrewCare’s 2021 Roady4Roadies’ Ambassadors / Supporters with ICEHOUSE, Missy Higgins, Vika & Linda Bull, Paul Dempsey (Something for Kate), Brian Ritchie (Violent Femmes/MONA) Catherine Britt, The Badloves and King Canyon.
In a statement Iva Davies says, “ICEHOUSE has been playing shows for a very long time – and we would not have been able to without our Crew.
Sooshi Mango Add Nine More Shows
Sooshi Mango will play an additional nine dates on their upcoming Australian tour.
The Melbourne comedy act will kick off the ‘Off The Boat’ tour in August. “As an entertainer I am so grateful to our fans for giving us the opportunity to perform at this level,” Andrew Manfre says. “We are honoured fly the banner for all immigrants that came to this great country in search of a better life. Can’t wait to hear the roaring laughs and smell the garlic breath in the air”.

Sooshi Mango will become the first Australian comedy act to perform two shows at Rod Laver Arena. “That makes me feel really proud and it’s crazy to think 3 idiots like us who started shooting vids in a car have ended up here. It’s truly humbling,” says Carlo Salantri.

Michael Rodrigues and NSW minister Stuart AyresSydney Takes Major Steps To Reclaim Being 24-Hour Global City
The New South Wales (NSW) government took more steps to reclaim Sydney as a 24-hour global city that would draw entertainment, tourism, investment and jobs.
It announced Feb. 9 the scrapping of the last of its controversial lockout laws, and appointed its inaugural 24-hour economy commissioner. Both go into effect in March.
The final lockout laws lift March 8 from one-time red light Kings Cross precinct, after authorities were satisfied assault rates dived sufficiently. Clubs now open until 3 a.m., without post-midnight drinks restrictions and costly security.
