Summer is just around the corner but whether many Milwaukee artists will be playing summer concerts is still unclear.
Vaccinations continue all adults are eligible and the CDC has advised that fully vaccinated people don t need masks outside for small gatherings. Free summer concerts have been announced in recent weeks in Greenfield and at Wisconsin State Fair Park, largely featuring local cover bands.
Here s hoping it will finally be safe to see some favorite local artists during these warm weather months. Nevertheless, we re not going to see the floodgates for concerts open just yet. So buying music from Milwaukee artists is still the primary way to support them.
